Nothing more than what the title saids. I'm back from my two trips.

Also, I want to say thank you guys so much for the 100,000 hits. And thanks to every single person who has , me, and given me wonderful comments to help make my writing better. I don't know where I would be without the support of all you guys.

I should totally submit something to celebrate this accomplishment, but we'll see what happens.

I am leaving for a trip tomorrow morning, so I will not be on here as much in the next 2 weeks. Around June 30th, I have a second trip that lasts about 2 weeks. I'll check dA for messages, but I won't be able to work on my stories or reply to messages very much until around the middle of July.

Oh my god, Lindsey is actually updating on dA?! Has the world gone mad?!  

But in a short summary, yes, I am alive on dA. College has been really eaten up my time here on dA. Now that I am done with my first year in college, I can relax and focus on other things I want to do.

Now there are two reasons why I am posting this journal. The first reason is to let y'all know that I didn't leave dA (even if I haven't submitted anything here ), but there is another reason why I am posting this journal. Since I am done with college and I'm more prepared for college this coming year, I have been thinking of starting over and redoing my stories. More specifically, I want to redo The Chosen One and Mario's Weakness.

"But Lindsey," you fellow readers may ask. "You haven't finished those stories in the first place. Are you sure you want to start over the stories?"

Yes, I do want to start both stories over. The problem I had with both The Chosen One and Mario's Weakness was that I would always write the chapter before I completely developed the story. By the time I had writer's block, my motivation went down, so there was really no point in finishing the stories if I had a beginning and an ending, but no middle.

I do want to get back to writing, but when I looked back at my stories, I realized that my writing now has seriously improved from the time I started writing The Chosen One and Mario's Weakness. I could just continue with both stories, but my writing from when I first started is really terrible and I want to show off my new way of writing to the fellow readers (you guys).

And to show that I am committing to restarting both series, I am almost done with the prologue for The Chosen One and the first chapter of Mario's Weakness and the second chapter of Mario's Weakness and the first chapter of The Chosen One is being worked on. (I have been working on another thing also, but that's for another day.)

So in a summary:
I do want to start writing again.
I am completely starting over The Chosen One and Mario's Weakness (and redoing the story, but that will be explained later).
My ultimate goal is to finish both stories and not let them go on hiatus (again ).


I'm sorry I haven't been active on dA. Hopefully, my motivation will stay this time because I really do want to finish these two stories. They mean a lot to me and I want to make these stories good by making every chapter enjoyable to read for you lovely readers.

As of a few days ago, I have officially graduated from high school! It was an interesting four years of high school, but it's time for me to start a new adventure in college.
